One of the neat things about the Operation Second Chance - Jail Dogs program is that it costs Gwinnett County taxpayers nothing to feed or supply the dogs on the unit. All costs are paid by Society of Humane Friends as part of their partnership with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department. In order to continue Jail Dogs, we rely on support and donations from people like you who believe that all homeless animals deserve a Second Chance.

If you'd like to support our efforts, and help us save more dogs from euthanasia, please consider a donation. For a donation of $50 or more, you can sponsor a Jail Dog. Sponsors receive recognition under their sponsored dog's listing, and a certificate when their dog is adopted. Please note on the donation site which dog you'd like to sponsor.

We also gratefully accept donations in honor or of in memory of a loved one. Their name will be listed on the website.
